CLASS A  LOCAL TRUCK DRIVER – Fabrication Delivery (Home Every Night)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and safety-minded Local Truck Driver to join our metal fabrication team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting fabricated parts, steel products, and materials to job sites, vendors, and customers within the local area. This is a day-shift position with no overnight travel — home every night.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a flatbed or truck with trailer to deliver fabricated metal parts and materials to local job sites and customer locations.
  • Load and unload materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manually when required.
  • Verify delivery contents and obtain proper signatures on delivery paperwork.
  • Maintain detailed delivery logs and ensure all documentation is accurate and submitted on time.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on the vehicle before and after each shift.
  • Follow DOT regulations and all company safety protocols.
  • Assist in the fabrication shop or yard as needed during non-driving hours (e.g., material staging, inventory checks, light shop work).

Requirements:

  • Valid CDL Class A
  • Clean driving record with a strong commitment to safety.
  • Experience hauling metal, structural steel, or construction materials preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in outdoor environments when delivering to job sites.
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain (preferred).
  • Familiarity with load securement practices for fabricated steel and metal products (chains, straps, tarps).

Schedule & Compensation:

  • Shift: Monday–Friday, early morning start (occasional Saturdays).
  • Home Nightly: All routes are local or regional day trips.
  • Pay: Competitive hourly wage based on experience.
  • Overtime pay after 40 hours.
  • Benefits include health, dental, vision, LTD, AD&D, Life insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and bonuses.

Job Description – Must be able to pass FCAW and GMAW tests per AWS D1.1, layout, and fit structural steel assemblies in accordance with shop drawings, be hard working and self-motivated.

Industrial Painter

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial painting and a strong understanding of various painting techniques and materials. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work with power tools, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all painting projects.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as needed.
  • Apply paint using spray guns, brushes, or rollers while ensuring an even coat and finish.
  • Operate power tools and equipment safely and efficiently during the painting process.
  • Handle materials properly to prevent waste and ensure safety protocols are followed.
  • Collaborate with team members to assemble components as needed for various projects.
  • Perform basic math calculations for mixing paint and estimating material requirements.
  • Conduct regular maintenance on painting equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Follow safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment at all times.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in industrial painting or a related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus.
  • Experience in materials handling and fabrication is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in operating forklifts and cranes is desirable.
  • Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations are essential.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality workmanship.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to auto painting and industrial applications.

Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator

Position Summary:

The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a variety of heavy equipment to load, transport, and handle structural steel and other materials as required. The role includes inspection, maintenance, and cleaning of equipment, crew-based work, and adherence to all safety rules, OSHA regulations, jobsite PPE requirements, and shipping/overhead crane operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a range of heavy equipment (e.g., loaders, fork trucks, overhead crane/hoist) in a safe and productive manner.
  • Load structural steel onto trailers, rig and secure loads, and assist with shipping operations.
  • Perform pre-shift inspections, daily maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs of equipment.
  • Work closely with crew members in a team environment and follow instructions from supervisors.
  • Follow all jobsite safety procedures, wear required PPE, and adhere to OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions; be physically capable of lifting 50 lbs or more as required.
  • Operate overhead cranes and hoists safely, including rigging and signaling, in coordination with shipping/logistics team.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance, inspections, and hours when required.
  • Communicate clearly—both orally and in writing—with supervisors, crew members, and logistics/shipping personnel.
  • Participate in drug testing, as required for safety‐sensitive roles.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience operating various types of heavy equipment (construction/industrial) in a safe and effective manner.
  • Knowledge of proper heavy equipment operation, inspection, maintenance, and cleaning.
  • Ability to work effectively in a crew environment and follow direction from supervisors.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to understand and follow instructions.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
  • Familiarity with safety rules, jobsite PPE requirements, overhead crane/hoist operations and rigging practices.
  • Physical ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.).
  • Physical ability to lift 50 lbs or more, climb in/out of equipment, bend, twist, and work for extended periods.
